Our card reader gooseneck pedestals are made using only 11 gauge (.120”) steel. This is the heaviest gauge of steel for an access control pedestal.

Faceplates

The faceplate on our card reader gooseneck pedestal has a universal hole alignment that fits any brand of card reader or keypad on the market.

Baseplates

All our base plates are heavy gauge. If a base plate is too thin, like many of the pedestals you may have already seen being sold, it will not hold up under rugged use or harsh conditions, and may even fall over and damage your electronics or someone's vehicle.

New Cover Plate        Feature!

Our cover plates are beveled and therefore rain, snow or any other fluid runs down and away from the center, instead of in toward the center and down the underneath of the cover and into the holes drilled into the cement pad, weakening the installation.
*All of our pad mount pedestals come with cover plates.

Neck Throw

Each goose neck is bent with a 6.0” center radius giving it a tight, 45 degree angle.
A special machine is used to accomplish this must-have bend for professional installs.

Washing

Steel must be prepped and cleaned well before it can be sent to the ovens to be powder coated.

We now use Kynar 500PC® resin exterior based Powder Coatings from Dow Powder Coatings. It costs us more, but our pedestals ...and your installations, are worth it!

Boxing & Hardware

Our card reader gooseneck access control pedestals are bubble wrapped, then boxed individually. We use double strength boxes, and include carriage bolt hardware for mounting spacers, enclosures and of course your electronics.
